Due to overwhelming interest and limited capacities we unfortunately had to close the registration for the tours and will only be granting tours to those who applied until the closing of the early-bird registration deadline.
On Monday afternoon (after 1pm) ORNL will be offering several tours among others there will be the option to visit the Center for Nanophase Materials Sciences (CNMS), the High Flux Isotope Reactor (HFIR), the Spallation Neutron Source (SNS), FRONTIER and the Manufacturing Development Facility (MDF).
Depending on the amount of interest the corresponding tours will be split up in groups and 2-3 visits point will be arranged.
As most of these facilities require a visitor pass to Oak Ridge early registration is key, such that our administrative staff can arrange for access to Oak Ridge.
Consequently foreign national have to register for the tours by September 30th, while US nationals have until October 28th.
