Description

The unique neutron facilities and science programs at ORNL present new opportunities in neutrino physics expanding on the success of the particle physics community in the PROSPECT and COHERENT experiments. This workshop will explore the near term possibilities with the operating facilities at HFIR and the SNS. Significant upgrades underway at the SNS and now under consideration at HFIR present new capabilities for future particle physics experiments in the longer term. The workshop will explore these near and long term opportunities to be documented in a white paper, for Snowmass and beyond.

Physics topics include: coherent elastic neutrino-nucleus scattering, inelastic scattering, neutrinoless double beta decay, supernova neutrinos, reactor neutrino fluxes, sterile neutrinos and other hidden sector particles.
