Description

This week’s seminar is under the topic of the ALICE upgrades lead by the ORNL team for Run 3 and 4 of the LHC. Ken will present the upgrade of the Time Projection Chamber (TPC) from running in a triggered mode towards continuous readout with particular emphasis on the electronics upgrades and the readout chamber. While Constantin will be discussing the proposal of a forward calorimeter (FOCal) for ALICE for Run 4 and its physics goals.
